Nokia involved its First Mobile TD LTE Demonstration in China

Nokia involved its First Mobile TD LTE Demonstration in China

TD-LTE is a next-generation mobile communications technology which gets international industry broad supporting and participating and makes full use of TDD spectrum resource. At present the key technology and product research and development work of TD-LTE is full speed ahead. This joint demo of TD-LTE technology between Nokia and China Mobile through Nokia terminals marks Nokia's support for TD-LTE development enter into a new stage.

Nokia's vice president Heikki Koivu who is in charge of TD business said, “The joint demo of TD-LTE technology with China Mobile, not only reflects the commitment of Nokia to TD-LTE, but also further enhanced Nokia's confidence in TD-LTE development. Nokia believes TD-LTE will be the key technology for future mobile broadband era, and provide a richer mobile internet experience for global users, including China.”

The joint demo marked the significant progress between Nokia and China Mobile in TD-LTE cooperation. Meanwhile, Nokia will continue to strengthen cooperation with China Mobile and participate in China Mobile on TD-LTE marketing and pilot activities actively. Nokia not only concerned about the development of TD-LTE , but will more actively promote the related cooperation between operators, suppliers, development partners and industry parties, to make TD-LTE into the global market.
