Non-Profit Young Liberal Blog Hits 10,000 Unique Visitor Mark for Month of February

TheYoungLib set out in December of 2009 in an effort to get more Gen Y’ers involved in politics. Gen Y boasts the most educated and liberal constituents in our nation’s history. Unfortunately the baby boomers still control most the wealth in this country; however Gen Y controls something that can be equally as valuable, THE INTERNET.

Gen Y owns the internet, with the exception of some older generations that got on board at its beginning. TheYoungLib.com urges Gen Y to be more informed, more involved and develop an “Off of the internet, into the streets” type mentality. We are losing our country right now to the rich and powerful, the news media is dishonest and politicians are corrupt. It is going to be the responsibility of Gen Y to step up and take back control.
