A team of individually established Independent Financial Advisers (IFA’s) have pooled their resources and knowledge together to form a new region wide company designed to offer their customers the best possible independent advice on all matters financial.
Oracle Financial Planning Ltd is the result of the coming together of six IFA’s with over 200 years of financial experience between them. This unique blend of expertise will ensure that the company can efficiently deal with any request for advice on pensions, estate planning, stocks and shares and financial protection.
Geographically placed in all parts of the region, the team already has an established client base built up over many years. The co-directors are Simon Reynolds from East Boldon ,Nigel Orrick from Hexham, Ken Morrell from Sunderland, John Graham from Houghton–le–Spring and Simon Hopkin from Ashington. In addition, Alan Sanderson from Swalwell is the firm’s first employee.
The spiralling financial situation was one of the major catalysts for the creation of the company as East Boldon based Simon Reynolds explained. “Many of our customers were worried that their hard earned investments would disappear without the best financial advice,” he said. “Oracle has been formed out of the friendship and trust of six friends who have the knowledge and experience to ensure that our clients receive the best level of service possible together with unquestionable integrity.”
The business is heavily regulated by the Financial Services Association (FSA) and as such each partner adheres not only to their rules but also to their own strict code of ethics. “We have a central core of values based on honesty, trust and accountability which help us to drive the business forward in a positive direction,” said Simon. “We really understand how important it is to protect our client’s investment which is why we treat every transaction as if it were our own money.”
Oracle is also investing in new technology by using tablet laptops that practically eliminates the need for paper. Most of the traditional paperwork is now done electronically including obtaining the customer’s signature. This technology allows business to be done in a faster time to allow Oracle to react to market changes, provides additional security and is a more environmentally friendly way to conduct business.
