Over the past six years, Marlene has worked with celebrities and socialites such as Stephanie Pratt of The Hills and Ashley Jones of True Blood, and many high profile events such as The Miss Malibu 2010 Pageant. A skilled make-up artist and hairstylist, Marlene’s artistic gift has helped her create beautiful looks for runway shows, charity gala’s and television shows, while her advanced training in special effects make-up has resulted in her work being featured in many theatrical productions and Halloween events. Marlene is also an active member in a group called “Power in Pink” created by The Underground Girls of Hip Hop, who volunteer their time creating after school programs at high schools in underprivileged areas which promote getting girls off the streets and channeling their energy into positive outlets.
