(Free-Press-Release.com) November 24, 2011 -- (http://www.aceofstrings.com/3/post/2011/07/novartis-partnering-for-access-and-innovation.html) An Ace Of Strings string quartet had the privilege of providing ambient classical and broadway music for one of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies in the world, Novartis. Prior to the date, we expected the event, which was held in one of the function rooms of the prestigious Enderun Colleges in Fort Bonifacio, to be another one of those elegant month-end corporate celebrations - and elegant it was!

We arrived at 5.30pm and was happy to see the 10-inch Pro soundsystem folks. We set up outside the hall to get ready for the cocktails. We did our sound check and by 6pm, we were ready to play.

Guests started pouring in by 6.30pm and we started playing Mozart concertos to set the mood. Guests ranged from corporate executives to government officials.

By 7.30pm, the MC welcomed the guests and officially started the event by inviting the crowd to come inside the function room from the cocktails area.

The highlight of their program was the transitional speeches from the outgoing country president, a Mr. Eric van Oppens, and the incoming country president, a Mr. Thomas Weigold. After the ceremonial toast, in-house dinner was served and we again started playing.

Overall, the event was elegant, surprisingly timely and had good vibes - thanks to Denise Barrameda of Mediaware Asia Inc., who, apart from providing the photography by Carlo Barrameda, put together the whole event.
