Suddenly and without warning a darkness descends upon the land like no other. The clouds drop from the sky in one large swoop, black as coal, so dense you could cut it with a knife. An eerie presence can be felt, moving all about. Minutes later the mystery unfolds. There are creatures hiding among the trees, and they are out to get you. Creeping from tree to tree, exposed by the flashes of lightning, are the silent members of a frightening tribe called Zucomi. Nobody knows for certain, but it is assumed to be them.

Before the storm can end, four members of the expedition completely disappear. Left behind are two eleven-year-old youngsters, one boy and one girl. They had been overlooked, but not for long. Soon they are in for the fight of their lives.

Seventeen years pass before the mystery unravels. But will Michael (Dr. Paul Michael Stanley) and Jewel (Scarlet Jewel Blanton) be able to handle what lies beneath it?
