NPSA Aligns with Food For the Poor in Haiti Relief Efforts

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 25, 2010 -- KANSAS CITY, MO. (January 26, 2010) – As Haiti faces years of recovery and rebuilding from the strongest earthquake to hit the nation in 200 years, the National Portable Storage Association is reaching out with humanitarian support.

"We have had many calls about how NPSA members can support relief efforts from the earthquakes that hit Haiti. There is a great need – and that need demands sustained relief for the months to come," says John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA), a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry. "Hundreds of thousands of people are subsisting on the barest of life's necessities and there is much work to be done."

The NPSA is working directly with Food For The Poor, a non-profit that ministers to spiritually renew impoverished people throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, to assist earthquake victims in Haiti. However, the NPSA also encourages members to contribute to the support of reputable organizations providing aid to Haiti, including the Red Cross and the newly formed Clinton-Bush Haiti fund, or to make individual efforts.

"We encourage NPSA members and portable storage industry players everywhere to support the nation of Haiti as it recovers from this disaster," says Joel Rathbone, NPSA Operations Manager.
