New York, NY – Personality, music, and hair. Three simple words to describe singer/songwriter Zack Borer, whose not so simple plans for 2010 continue rolling at lightning speed. After months of focused writing and recording, Zack brings his high-energy show back to Sullivan Hall in New York City on May 8th, 2010, for the release of his highly anticipated new “five pack” called “Dollars Spent on Nothing”. The digital-exclusive, available via download card at the show and on all major digital retailers shortly thereafter, will offer five brand new songs including the lead single “45 Days.” All songs were recorded at Atlantic Sound Studios in Brooklyn, NY and feature Zack’s explosive band made up of Craig Magnano (guitar), Andre Cleghorn (bass), and Adam Jackson (drums).

“The title stems from a time in my life where I had little responsibility and would literally have no idea where the money in my pocket went. Ironically, still to this day, I find myself leaving my house with $50 only to return with no cash and little or nothing to show for it.” said Zack.

Zack’s path to success remains laser-focused on NYC, and as part of his local concentration, Zack is launching a new initiative called “Local Music Loves Local Business.” The new program kicks off on May 8th creating relationships with two local businesses -- clothing designer, 4-Stroke Jeans, and downtown restaurant/bar, Nolita House. Through these strategic partnerships, both companies will be offering various levels of sponsorships, giveaways, and special offers to fans/friends/family on May 8th at the new music release party and in the weeks and months to follow.

Highlights include having his song “That’s The Way” pre-loaded on the Google Nexus One phone, side stage performances at the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach for Dave Matthews Band and Jason Mraz, and being named a Top 5 finalist in the MTV VMA’s “Best Breakout Artist in NYC” competition.
