Oakland Magic Circle - Inter-club Stage Competition

The OMC ( Oakland Magic Circle ) held their Annual Intra-Club Stage Competition in August 2009 and Dan Chan the Magic Man and Kat the Acrobat won first prize! This win allowed Dan and Kat to represent OMC in the Annual Inter-Club OMC Stage Competition held on Sept 1, 2009. The OMC Inter-Club Stage competition is an OMC annual event where Magic Clubs from as far north as Sacramento to as far south as Monterey send representatives to compete in this annual event. All the performances were outstanding including Scott Emo who represented IBM RING 216! Congratulations to Dan Chan the Magic Man (member of IBM RING 216 and OMC) and Kat the Acrobat for winning First place.

This skilled duo uses magic, juggling, escapes, and acrobatics to present one of the most energetic and educational variety acts. Together, Dan and Kat have worked to create performances of the highest skill level. Recently the their skills have brought them both to perform in Japan, Sun Valley, Baltimore, Portland, Mexico, and Hollywood. Daniel is a graduate of UC Riverside, the Clown Conservatory and the Chavez Course in Magic. Recently both Dan and Kat performed at Club Med and also the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood California.
