OBS WELCOMES TWO TO THE SALES DEPT: AWVE & FRENCH

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 9, 2009 -- November 6, 2009 – Whitehouse, OH: OBS Financial Services, Inc. (OBSFS) is proud to announce and welcome both Regina ‘Sam’ Awve and Steven R. French as additions to their sales force. Awve will be responsible for the Midwest Region while French is currently an independent contractor focusing in the Mideast Region.

Awve joins our team and comes with 18+ years of investment sales experience and licensed financial expertise. Her previous employment was at CUNA Mutual Group (CMG) as a Regional Sales Director from 2002-2008. While there, she was instrumental in strategically building and maintaining profitable business relationships with significant number of financial institutions and advisors. She also was responsible for conducting client seminars, district meetings as well as frequently a valued spokesperson at national investment conferences. Awve holds many awards from CMG such as Top Annuity Regional Sales Director (2003-2007), Regional Sales Director of the Year (2005) and a Leadership Award (1999-2000). Awve also holds the following: FINRA Licenses- Series 6, 7 and 63; Certifications – CRPC® Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor.

French comes to OBS as an independent contractor with 25+ year of financial institution experience along with many licensed financial expertise. His previous employment was at Great American Advisors as the Director of Business Development. French was instrumental in developing a recruiting strategy and program for the firm. Prior to his employment there, he was President and Owner of MemberMap, LLC which specialized in the delivery of investment, insurance, and financial planning services through banks and credit unions. French currently holds the following licenses: FINRA Licenses – Series 7, 24, 27 and 63; State of Ohio Life/Health/Variable Product Insurance license; Certified Financial Planner®. French also has a Masters of Business Administration focusing in Marketing from Xavier University.
