New England Law | Boston’s Juris Doctor degree programs allow students to align coursework with their own scheduling needs.
JD candidates have the freedom to tailor their school schedule to their individual situations with four full-time or part-time study options to choose from. The JD program features a solid foundation of required courses, supplemented by a wide range of electives offerings. Students are allowed to enroll in elective courses during their second year of study and are eligible to take clinical courses as soon as their third semester. So, whether you want to attend part-time law school or go full time, New England Law can accommodate your needs.
Students may select the option that best meets their needs, including Full-time Day; Part-time Day; Part-time Evening; and Special Part-time (a combination of day and evening classes that is designed for parents with primary child-rearing responsibilities).
In addition to flexibility, New England Law | Boston offers law school clinics to help you find your passion. The clinics successfully integrate theory and practice and provide students with over a dozen choices each semester in a wide range of areas. About 60 percent of New England Law students take at least one clinic.
Clinical work introduces students to issues of policy and ethics while preparing them for the bar exam, boosting resumes, fostering networking relationships, and providing opportunities for public interest legal work.
