Office Managers Seek Help From The National Office Managers Association of America
Office managers from all types of backgrounds are coming together to help one another as well as have access to valuable policies and procedures for their offices.

The National Office Managers Association of America (NOMAA) has begun to accept memberships so that office managers from all types of backgrounds can network and learn from one another. NOMAA is building off of their sister association Physician Office Managers Association of America (POMAA) that was founded June of 2008.

http://www.NOMAA.net NOMAA's goal is to help any office manager build on their success as well as have a place to communicate with other management professionals where they may seek advice and provide valuable input from their colleagues. Their current membership dues are a very low fee of only $50.00 as they continue to build their website and build their membership base. "We have to start somewhere, stated Desiree R. Baylin, NOMAA's Executive Director. We cannot expect our members to pay our full annual membership fee of $125.00 while we pull the member resource section together to make it stronger and more valuable to our members."
NOMAA is unique in the fact that the membership does not target one specific type of business. They welcome members from all types of backgrounds as their goal is to gain knowledge of how all types of businesses are run. There might be a time when someone in management would like to switch careers and enter a different line of work altogether. NOMAA will have the tools available in order for their members to do this.
The association is considering their first 500 members as their charter members which they hope to fulfill within one year. If you know of someone who is in management, they are asking that you please pass on information about NOMAA, as the association believes it will be one of the best career choices that individual will ever make.
In addition to networking, having access to policies and procedures, NOMAA will have a quarterly newsletter, discounted rates on any educational events they offer, free job postings for your business, and many other benefits in the near future.
