Oklahoma Wildland Fire Management Company Assists with the Honey Prairie Complex Wildfire in Georgia

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 2, 2011 -- OKLAHOMA CITY (June 2, 2011)—Chloeta Fire, LLC, a wildfire management company based out of Oklahoma City, provided a wildland fire engine crew to assist with the Honey Prairie Complex Wildfire in the Okefenokee Swamp near Fargo, GA.

The Honey Prairie Wildfire started April 28, 2011 and has now reached 164,998 acres. Chloeta Fire sent one Type 6 engine crew on May 27, 2011 to assist the Georgia Forestry Commission and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The Chloeta Fire crew anticipates being in the field for 14 days.
