OKreserved Cancels Partnership With Solmar Car Rentals Spain

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 1, 2010 -- Okreserved have received numerous complaints from customers who have experienced problems ranging from customer service and vehicle quality from Solmar Car Rental, to the most serious, that of seriously overcharging customers above the agreed prices as displayed on your voucher.

Solmar Car Rentals have tried to justify the reason for charging above the price stated on the voucher as a mistake by our company, Global Reservation Centre PLC, when processing the reservation, a statement which is totally incorrect.

Global Reservation Centre PLC has taken legal advice on this matter to ensure that as a company we are correct in our dealings and also to provide a clear indication to our customers as to how they should approach reimbursement of the additional charges.

The facts are very clear. Global Reservation Centre PLC are in possession of emails from Solmar Car Rentals confirming their acceptance of your reservation, at the price shown on the voucher. Our own price promise covers you for any over charging where Global Reservation Centre PLC have made a pricing mistake. By the fact that Solmar Car Rentals have issued their own official reservation / confirmation number, they have confirmed the details of the reservation are correct, including the price. Upon Solmar Car Rentals issuing their own internal official reservation number they are contractually obligated to provide you with car rental services as stated on the voucher issued to you, at the prices agreed on the voucher, which also contains the Solmar Official Reservation Number.

We have attached to this letter a copy of the emails received from Solmar Car Rentals confirming your reservation at the price stated on the voucher, in order to assist you in your efforts to seek reimbursement from Solmar Car Rentals.
