The olive harvest is a unique opportunity to participate in an autumnal ritual that is essential to Italy's agrarian and culinary interests.
The package includes:

4 breakfasts,
3 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours;
3 lunches / 1 dinner
4 nights accommodations in the apartments of the farm,
1 morning olive harvest in the farm,
2 half day excursions (with minivan and driver).

Day by day itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the country farm "La volpe e l'uva" (Central Italy, Umbria, near Tuscany) . Check-in your apartment at 4:00pm. Dinner reservations can be made at a restaurant of your choice

Day 2
HIn the morning olive harvest in the farm and lunch with typical products.
Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 5:00pm. You will prepare a four course dinner.
For dinner you will dine on your creations accompanied by our wines.

Day3
Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 10:00 am. You will prepare a four course lunch. For lunch you will eat on your creations accompanied by our wine.
Half day excursion take place from 15.00 to 19.00. You will visit Trevi and a traditional local mill. Professional guide in the tour.

Located on a promontory above the Valle Umbra, Trevi has a strikingly picturesque appearance for those who approach the city from the valley. Thanks to the good quality of olive oil locally produced, Trevi is also known as the capital of olive oil.
Set on the slopes of a hill covered with olive groves and crowned with the Umbrian gem of Trevi, the local mill, a national prize rewarded olive mill, has been producing superior D.O.P extra virgin olive oil for the past sixty years.

Day 4
Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 10:00 am. You will prepare a four course lunch. For lunch you will eat on your creations accompanied by our wine.

The excursion take place from 15.00 to 19.00. You will visit the mystical city of Assisi, a beautiful medieval town based on Mount Subasio, overlooking a peaceful Umbrian landscape. The tour will allow to get to know the main landmarks where st. Francis lived. You can see the st. Francis Basilica whose superior walls were frescoed by Giotto and Cimabue. You will also visit the Eremo delle carceri, one of the oldest Franciscan convents

Day 5
Departure.
