On-campus & Online BS in Nursing Completion Degree Now Offered by Stevens-Henager College

Salt Lake City, Utah, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 21, 2011 -- Salt Lake City, Utah, January 21, 2011 - Stevens-Henager College now offers an on-campus and online BS in Nursing Completion Degree. The on-campus and online BS in Nursing completion degree is available only to registered nurses (RNs) and will enable nurses to earn a bachelor’s degree in as little as 20 months. Via a consortium agreement, this program is delivered fully online by the Salt Lake City-Murray campus.

The degree program is designed to prepare students to meet the many changes and challenges in the healthcare field by expanding and enhancing their nursing education. The nursing focus will prepare students to provide care to the client, family, and community in a global society. Knowledge in utilizing theory and research-based findings will equip students with the flexibility needed to adapt to the changing nature of healthcare. The course will also prepare graduates to integrate care across multiple settings, managing the interactions between and among components of the integrated network of healthcare services.

After completion, graduates will be prepared for positions in community health clinics, private practice, hospitals, and patient care facilities.

Prospective students must hold a valid Registered Nurse license and have completed sufficient college credit to attain the equivalent of third-year college status. Students also should have completed an appropriate number of credit hours of general education.
