On the Negative Influence in One’s Early Growth

Reading the news related to the famous actors and actress, we can find that their marriage is anything but stable. Perhaps this is due to the nature of they jobs——playing a part in a film. They are always seeking for something more interesting, something fresh and something unknown to them. This is their view of marriage.

We can regard her past fear as a psychological problem. Each one can be disturbed by some triggering factors or incidents anytime in life. For example, I remember one of my best friends never dared to wear high heel shoes. She was pretty and tall, who was told that she did not need to put on those sexy shoes on her feet and would be criticized and punished by her tyrannical mother once she disobeyed this rule. So every time she could only wear the fashion shoes. This situation continued for years until she married her current husband. She told me that she often ordered black high heel shoes and had completely got rid of the psychological disturbance from her family education.

Different from the situation of my friend, Amanda Seyfired’s thinking “sex was dirty and disgusting” does not result from any influence caused by human beings. According to her revelation, the only reason behind her fright of sex goes to the psychological condition caused by her hometown, a town small in size in Allentown, Pennsylvania. What is more, Amanda Seyfired is very careful while giving these words, saying that “she is the only one who used to be narrow-minded”. In fact, her psychological problem was imposed to negative reinforcement as well, for she told the media that she felt scared of sex when she knew that her sister lost her virginity. This leads to her abhorrent attitudes towards sex.

What can we do if we are found to be tortured by these kinds of psychological problems? It is said that one of the most effective ways is to move to a new place and stay away from the triggers.
