Once Again, the Ever Growing Toolbox has Expanded Their Range of Websites by Adding Stanley-Hand-Tools.co.uk to Their Portfolio
Toolbox, one of the largest tool retailers in the online marketplace has decided to yet again increase their range of websites by incorporating Stanley-Hand-Tools
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 17, 2012 --
Stanley Hand Tools first started out as two separate companies owned by two cousins; ‘The Stanley Works’ founded by Frederick T. Stanley and ‘The Stanley Rule & Level Company’ founded by Henry Stanley.
These two companies operated independently for over 65 years until they decided to merge together in 1920, to form what we now know as the common ‘Stanley Hand Tools’. The business continued to develop throughout the 1900’s, producing some of the most useful, innovative tools, ever created; and to this day, Stanley have continued to be an industry leader in regards to quality and innovative hand tools. Due to the driven nature of Stanley and the quality of the hand tools they provide, Toolbox were enthusiastic and excited about teaming up with them and incorporating the great products they have to offer into their distribution channels.
Lee Taylor, the General Manager of Toolbox spoke up about this new website and said: “We’ve stocked Stanley products for a long time and we constantly receive praise and great reviews about the products of theirs which we sell. The quality, price and usefulness of Stanley hand tools are second to none as any owners of the brand well know; this is just one of the reasons why we’ve chosen to expand the range we offer and incorporate it into a brand new website”.
The reason why Stanley continue to provide useful tools which benefit everyday people is down to the simple reason that, they know what people want. How? They ask them. Before they design a tool they ask average people like you and me, what they use it for, why they use it and how they use it (along with other questions) – and from this they can assemble a variety of ideas on how to better the product and tailor it to make it even more useful. As well as increasing the efficiency and generally bettering the product, they carry out extensive testing on tools in a variety of conditions to ensure that they’re strong enough to last and endure a lot of use.
Anthony Langston, Web Administrator at Toolbox comments on the new website: “The site for Stanley Hand Tools has been optimised with the customer in mind; despite the huge range of products, customers should have no trouble locating the product they’re after. Even if they haven’t decided what they want upon coming to the site, it’s laid out in a simplistic, user-friendly fashion that will allow the user to navigate with ease between the tool categories”.
Plumbworld was established in 1999 by James and Anita Hickman and was later sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, they now employ over 50 people in their purpose built warehouse and offices and turnover close to £20 million a year. The Plumbworld empire expands month by month with new additions to staff and websites; the current website count sits at 46 with more in the pipeline. The websites vary hugely and specialise in anything from wood burning stoves and barbecues to bathrooms and garden tools.
