Nature took 65 million years forming this largest dry cavern in the United States, so don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience of staying the night in the Grand Cavern Suite. Located at Milepost 115, Route 66, in Northern Arizona, the Grand Canyon Caverns Grand Cavern Suite offers the adventure and grandeur of nature’s underground with a very comfortable night’s stay.

The Grand Cavern Suite is spacious, offering 8000 square feet of cavern space with 70-foot ceilings. The suite’s limestone walls remove impurities from the air, creating a bit of nature’s pure perfection with a constant underground temperature of 68 degrees. Located 220 feet underground, the suite’s amenities include 2 double beds, living room with a queen-sized fold-out sofa, table and chairs, a library of old books and magazines, a record player with records, elevator, and bathroom. Dinner can be served in the suite for up to 10 people or guests can dine above ground in the restaurant. An employee is ready to assist Suite guests with any needs during their stay.

Historically, the Grand Canyon Caverns resort was visited by Hollywood celebrities and politicos as they traveled back and forth between the East and West coasts. Today, over a mile of trails are explored daily by tourists that arrive via the longest remaining strip of historic route 66. The 800-acre Grand Canyon Caverns property offers visitors cavern tours almost every day, and has a full-service motel, campground, RV park, restaurant, bar, gift shop, 24-hr gas station, convenience store, meeting rooms, horse and bike trails (rentals available), nature trails, scenic garden, river rafting, wagon rides, Frisbee golf, rodeo arena, airstrip (L37), tour guides, Supai waterfall tours, Jeep tours to the Grand Canyon, and friendly employees.
