Brainchild of husband and wife team, Gavin and Sharon, the Gallery was ironically inspired by the empty wall spaces in their new apartment and limited time to visit galleries. They were forced to search for
artworks online and soon discovered that the local online gallery shopping experience did not offer the refined selection process and experience found in real world galleries. There appeared to be no authentication or assurance of quality. Furthermore, they found it really hard to visualize the scale of the artwork and how it would fit in their own apartment.
With a strong background in fine art, online marketing and information technology, they launched First Art Gallery which offers a virtual room view of almost all artworks accepted into the gallery. The virtual room allows art buyers to get a good visual appreciation of how each piece could fit within their own space.
