Phoenix Gold Invites Car Audio and Customization Fans to Vote on Some of the Most Outrageous, Creative and Audacious Car Audio Builds in the World
On opening day of the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, Phoenix GoldÂ® (http://www.phoenixgold.com) will officially kick off voting for an international car audio builder's competition called œThe Phoenix Gold Builder's Challenge. Best described as American Idol meets Pimp My Ride, the contest pits car audio shops, build teams and car clubs around the globe against each other in an online popularity contest where technical skill, artistic creativity and engineering ingenuity are the keys to victory. Attendees to the 2013 show are invited to stop by the Phoenix Gold booth (LVCC North Hall, #309) to be among the first to see the builds online and cast their vote for the winner.
Phoenix Gold launched the Builder's Challenge in Spring of 2012, and competing teams toiled all summer to create some of the most dynamic, exciting, innovative and audacious builds the world has ever seen. Each team had only one rule: their build must prominently feature Phoenix Gold amps, subs and speakers. In addition to building the vehicle and a winning sound system, the each team also set-up a profile page on the Builder's Challenge website and begin submitting details about their vehicle, team members, build list, concept sketches, progress photos, videos and more.
Shameless self-promotion will be the key to victory in this competition. So, competitors will be able link their profile page to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or other social media accounts to build-up a fan base and highlight the talents of their team. The more attention they attract, the more votes they get, the closer they will come to winning. These teams are not only competing for international bragging rights, but also a Phoenix Gold prize package worth more than $10,000. Plus, select vehicles and teams may find themselves featured in advertisements and other marketing materials from Phoenix Gold in 2013.
