ReactionGrid Inc. has implemented groups services based on Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) on our Core1 Welcome Island. This will be rolled out by zone during December 2010.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 2, 2010 --
ReactionGrid Inc. is pleased to announce our release of groups for OpenSimulator. Developed by the ReactionGrid development team, groups will greatly enhance OpenSimulator’s capabilities for collaboration and community development.
Over the next two weeks, groups functionality will be rolled out to all public ReactionGrid regions. ReactionGrid customers with hosted grids who would like group functionality are encouraged to contact us for details on installation pricing and scheduling via create@reactiongrid.com.
ReactionGrid is committed to the success of the OpenSimulator. To support this, we are releasing our Groups functionality as Open Source code and contributing it back to the core OpenSimulator development project. We anticipate the release of the source code will happen in January.
