OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS EVENT for the UNDEREMPLOYED
OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS EVENT for the UNDEREMPLOYED
Business and Employment Opportunity Fair presents the Greater Phoenix Opportunity Knocks event, where EDUCATION, RESOURCES and TRANSFORMATION converge
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 6, 2012 --
Join other underemployed individuals in finding valuable assistance at our OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS event for Greater Phoenix. The Business and Employment Opportunity Fair (BEOF) mission is to be much more than a job resource venue for those seeking employment. BEOF Opportunity Knocks events have staffing and placement companies who can help those looking for work, but also so much more. The reality is that there are not enough jobs to go around, and the job market will not materially improve anytime soon. Therefore, the competition for such jobs will remain fierce. Our Opportunity Knocks events start with the belief that the best way for someone to compete for limited jobs, or to be successful in buying or starting a business, is to become entrepreneurial in their thinking and in their actions. Entrepreneurial people are just much more likely to succeed. So our events start with a mindset transformation experience headed by a special speaker. The speaker for the Greater Phoenix event will be renouned motivational speaker Michael Bernoff. After Michael attendee's will be able to interaction with a wide range of sponsors, including staffing and placement companies, educational companies and universities, business brokerages, direct selling companies, financial experts and other businesses that provide a valuable input to our attendees. Our event will proceed as follows:
HOUR ONE: MINDSET SHIFT
During the first hour of the event, attendees will be led in an interactive journey focused on the goal of incorporating in the attendee a mindset of entrepreneurship. Developing a mindset of entrepreneurship will equip the attendee with a framework to more effectively compete in the job and business environments.
HOUR TWO: RESOURCES
During the second hour, attendees will be able to visit with some prospective employers and Sponsors, and learn from our Sponsors about some really important topics, including:
* Learn from our staffing and resume companies how to "increase your value proposition", to make yourself and your written presentation more competitive in finding the job you seek.
* Learn from our educational institutions how to retrain yourself with skills that are and will be more in demand.
* Learn from our direct selling companies how to start a business and a second stream of income for little cost.
* Learn from our business broker what existing businesses are for sale and from our financial professionals how to finance such a purchase.
* Learn from our success coach how to identify and accomplish those tasks that successful people accomplish, and from our business coach how to find and monetize your passion.
