Bala Cynwyd -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Mar 14, 2011 -- The Off Shore Gambling Association (OSGA) will celebrate March Madness in Las Vegas this Wednesday with a first-ever type of promotion on The Strip – the OSGA QR Code Girls.
From 2pm-6pm (Las Vegas Time) on Wednesday, March 16, anyone with a smartphone and a QR reader app can “scan” the QR codes on the OSGA girls’ clothing to instantly receive the exclusive OSGA Insider Betting Guide to March Madness on their phone, and be entered to win a 1979 NCAA Championship photo autographed by Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. Only people who “scan” the girls during those hours are eligible to win the signed photo, valued at $550.00.
“We are all about using technology to help people who choose to gamble on-line, “said Jim Quinn, founder of OSGA.com. “Having people ‘scan” the QR codes on our girls to win a really cool prize just seemed like a great use of this emerging technology”
The OSGA Girls will be wearing custom-made clothing featuring strategically placed QR codes. When the QR codes are scanned, participants will be taken to OSGA.com where they can enter to win the autographed photo. The clothing was custom created by Adventures in T-Shirt Land.
