http://www.outreachte.com ShoreTel Managed Solution is a new model for delivering communications to customers on a “pay for usage” model. Customers pay a monthly fee for the usage of ShoreTel hardware and software licenses to provide key communications deliverables. The hardware and software will be located in the customer’s premises and hosted on their network and managed by ShoreTel or Outreach Telecom & Energy, an authorized ShoreTel partner.
ShoreTel Managed Solution (“STMS”) consists of a core IP Telephony Unified Communication platform that can be enhanced with more advanced solutions according to the customer needs.

At a time when businesses are strained and credit is not readily available, the ShoreTel Managed Solution enables huge productivity improvements for businesses and does so without the need for the business to borrow money to make a capital purchase."
The system is acquired through Outreach in an agreement made directly between the customer and ShoreTel on a two year subscription. The subscription includes all post installation services including management of the hardware, such as phones, switches and software, customer move, add, change deletes and other day to day maintenance, onsite repair and other support. Thre are no hidden charges. Initial installation costs are paid with the order. After that the customer pays a per extension based price. The industry calls this a "per seat" charge. Under this model a company can acquire the world class ShoreTel Unified Communications system that previously could have cost tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars upfront or on a lease, for a simple monthly fixed fee. If the business grows they just add additional "seats". If the business shrinks, the simply remove "seats". This flexibility is unmatched by any other premise based UC system. The per seat cost methodology is widely used in Hosted VoIP systems. The difference here is that with ShoreTel Managed Solution the system is installed on site at the customers premise. Customers are not limited to a set of features designed for a generic customer, as may be the case with a Hosted VoIP system. With ShoreTel Managed Solution the system is fully customized by ShoreTel to the customers specific needs and circumstances. This results in more features, better functionality and a lower Total Cost of Utilization (TCU) than is available in any other system. The system scales from twenty to twenty thousand users across the enterprise.
Agents, VARs and other technology dealers wanting to bring this solution to their customers may do so through Outreach's national distribution program: " The Cap & Trade Agent Program." These companies sell the system and receive upfront and residual compensation. As long as the customer remains a customer of ShoreTel and pays their bill, Outreach and their Agents will be paid as well. As a result over the lifespan of the installation, anticipated to be five years or more, the Agent receives many times the compensation they would receive in a typical system sale.
