Over Fifties Look For Financial Security
Over Fifties Look For Financial Security
Women approaching their 50s have some particular fears relating to financial security.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 17, 2011 --
The crowd at the Cannes Film Festival were stunned by a sexy looking 73 year old actress Jane Fonda, as she showed just how fabulous a keep-fit fanatic, with the help of some plastic surgery procedures, can look. Growing older does not mean fading discretely into the background.
A recent survey revealed the one thing that keeps women nearing 50, awake at night, is not how healthy they will be, or how they will look. Their greatest fear is that they will not have sufficient money to survive comfortably, as they age.
“For me, there's so much I want to do and accomplish,“ said one 50 year old. “I want to continue to work in my business, I want to stay healthy and I don't want to run out of money.”
The general population is aging because of better health and living conditions. What was once considered to be old is no longer the case. Numerous 70 year olds still play a vital and active role in their community.
A supporter for older women staying active in the work force until at least 65 years of age says ‘It is important to not let fear get in the way of making wise and prudent financial decisions that could have a positive impact on your future.’
Retirement could last for up to 30 or even 40 years, so the ‘aged’ can no longer rely on governments to supply them with the where withal to see them through.
A 60 year old couple shifted to Vanuatu to retire. They set up a small, easy to run, 6 unit tourist accommodation, Seachange Lodge, instead of retiring. Not only did they achieve a great life style, they met so many interesting people from all over the world, as well as setting themselves up financially.
They are now moving on to some of their other exciting projects. These will continue to provide funds for students who will never see the inside of a high school, without outside assistance. In Vanuatu, a vibrant tropical archipelago in the South Pacific, only 55% of children go to primary school. Of those, only 8% complete high school, with finding school fees a major problem.
The great thing is that Seachange Lodge, one of the best real estate deals in the South Pacific islands, will give another person the opportunity to become financially independent, able to generate their personal retirement fund, tax free.
Seachange Lodge is the perfect lifestyle property, where some lucky person, or couple, will be able to fulfill their dream of a more relaxed way of life and find financial security.
