Throughout 2010, the number of LED backlight products in mainstream products increased from dozens to hundreds, the brand pattern in the market also changed greatly with the increase in investment, and Samsung became the brand with the most attention proportion in domestic LED-backlit LCD market.

In 2010, the products of China's LCD market further developed to larger sizes. 21.50-inch and 23-inch products enjoyed rising attention. By the end of 2010, the market attention proportion of 21.50-inch products had been almost the same with that of 19-inch products. The other top ten brands included Great Wall, BenQ, Philips, ViewSonic, Dell, Acer and HKC. Compared with 2009, the overall pattern of China's LCD market remained unchanged, while the attention proportion of Samsung fell by 2.30% in 2010. In fierce competition, LG and AOC both saw a significant rise in attention proportion. In 2010, China's LED LCD market grew very rapidly, and various mainstream brands strengthened their investment in the market, changing the market pattern significantly. The annual attention proportion of Samsung was 25.70%, ranking the first in China's LED LCD market.

In 2010, the customers of China's LCD market mainly focused their attention on LCD at the price of less than CNY 2,000. Display Screens developed towards large sizes. Seen from the entire year, 19-inch screens enjoyed the most attention proportion in the market, which were followed by 22-inch, 21.50-inch and 23-inch display screens. With the popularization of LED backlight products, the lifetime of LCD will be longer than before, but the market saturation is a major obstacle to the development of LCD. Besides, the panel prices directly affect the manufacture costs of LCD products. Therefore, the upstream panel market influences greatly on the development of the LCD market.
