FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Clemente, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 18, 2010 -- Dr. Frank Kousaie was interviewed on radio station KHB 620- Pittsburgh "AM Impact On Your Health" on October 15, 2010, hosted by Dennis J. Courtney, M.D.

Dr. Kousaie, board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management, heads the pain management department at the Cristal Clinic in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Kousaie earned his medical degree in 1985 from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his internship at the Cleveland Clinic and his anesthesia residency at Metro General Hospital. Dr. Kousaie has been practicing anesthesia and pain management for over 25 years and has proudly run the Anesthesia and Pain Clinic for the past 7 years.

Dr. Kousaie was discussing the advancements in pain management and his personal experiences at the Cristal Clinic in Akron, Ohio using the NeuroMed Electroanalgesic Delivery System with the MATRIX System software version 1/1.0 in the treatment of pain. Dr. Kousaie stated after the radio interview "Utilization of Electroanalgesic treatments in my pain practice has allowed more patients and more pain relief than the traditional and standard pain practice, utilizing injections and medications"…

“I have been utilizing this advanced technology in my practice for a number of years now and have treated many pain patients and injured workers like Bridgestone Firestone employees. I can say this has changed the way I treat pain. Dr. Kousaie also added “I want to personally thank the manufacture of the NeuroMed device for bringing this technology to my attention and providing me with several systems for my office, which has personally changed the quality of life for many of my pain patients”.

About this technology:

The NeuroMed Electroanalgesic Delivery System has been cleared for sale by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to “Stimulate peripheral nerves for the purpose of providing pain relief, Adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical pain, Relaxation of muscle spasms” and many other indications. This technology uses an advanced computer assisted High Definition frequency generator (HDfg) ™ to reduce the hyper-irritated state of the nerves.

The MATRIX System software version 1/1.0, provided by NeuroMed, uses advanced software algorithms and a High Definition frequency generator (HDfg)™ to produce higher frequencies (pulses per second) that are above 8,300 pps (Hz) to as high as 10,000 pps (Hz) to stop or interrupt the axon transport of the action impulse. This results in the ability to inhibit severe (long term) intractable pain. It is very different from a TENS unit (for home use) that uses 1-250 pps (pulses per second) which delivers a very low dosage of current to a patient.
