Palace on Wheels New Schedule Announced

The updated schedule for the peak season of the train (September 2012 to April 2013) is now available on the website of Palace on Wheels train. The updated schedule also includes journey dates from September 2013 to December 2013.

Palace on Wheels, operated by Rajasthan Tourism and Development Corporation, departs from Safdarjung Railway Station every Wednesday and traverse the course of enchanting destinations in Rajasthan along with a halt at Agra before concluding its 8 days and 7 night’s journey in Delhi.

The weeklong itinerary of the Palace on Wheels train includes tours to Delhi, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Bharatpur along with a halt in Agra. The weeklong journey on board this luxury train includes excursion to forts, palaces, World Heritage Sites, tiger safari in Ranthambore National Park, birding in Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Guests aboard Palace on Wheels train will discover myriad colors of Rajasthan every day.
