Palm Beach County - "2011 WIRK FREEDOM RIDE" - In remembrance of the 10th anniversary of the attacks on America. An estimated 300 bikers will travel the route through West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 7, 2011 -- The WIRK Annual Freedom ride takes place this Saturday, September 10th 2011. In remembrance of the 10th anniversary of the attacks on America. An estimated 300 bikers will attend and travel the route beginning at Northwood University. The annual Freedom Ride commemorates the victims of 9-11.

Motorcycle registration will begin at 2pm at the main parking lot on the Northwood University campus. For only $30 per person

(Cash Only- Please), riders will join together along with WIRK107.9 on the ride. It will be s escorted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The ride ends at the Cruzan Amphitheatre, where riders will enjoy an evening with Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton in concert.

At Northwood University, riders and anyone from the local community can enjoy a live performance by Jerrod Niemann during the registration.

In addition to entertainment, there will be to tributes to the victims and events on this 10th anniversary.

At 5:10 pm, it will be time to place their kick stands up for the police escorted departure. Even those who don’t participate on the ride will be touched by watching the convoy along the route throughout the city. Coming out in support is appreciated and welcome.

The bikers are being police-escorted by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s office and will stop along the route to pay their respects at the 9/11 Steel Memorial at the Palm Beach Co. Fire Station #3 on North Lake Boulevard.

The final destination on the ride is The Brad Paisley Concert at the Cruzan Amphitheatre. Where everyone can come together for an evening of great music.

Proceeds from this event benefit Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Incorporated; a not for profit corporation whose goal to inspire hope, strength and courage to US soldiers while they are separated from loved ones, families, and friends.
