PALOS VERDES YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PUT ON THEIR WALKING SHOES FOR THE PIER TO PIER WALK

Palos Verdes Young Professionals (PVYP) will be stretching their legs and tying their walking shoes for the third annual SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship walk on October 30th. All this for a great cause: raising funds to support their chosen non-profit organization the ‘Peninsula Education Foundation’ (PEF). The young professionals and many other “walkers” will be participating in 3.4-mile event that goes from the Manhattan Beach Pier to the Hermosa Beach Pier. The Pier to Pier friendship walk brings thousands of friends and families together every year in support of children with special needs and education.

PVYP have created a team where any individual and/or business can join either as a sponsor, runner or both. All donations to this cause are greatly appreciated. Save the date and come on down. Don’t miss the fun, entertainment and most importantly supporting your local community. “PEF encourages you to create walking teams of teachers, administrators, parents, students and community friends to come out and join the fun! Let’s all walk together to keep our schools great!” says Andrea Sala, Executive Director of the Peninsula Education Foundation. All dogs are welcome as well!
