ATLANTA – How will the economy effect my retirement? Is there a better way to plan for the what-ifs of tomorrow? What is the best option in today’s housing market? A distinguished panel of experts will discuss these questions and more during a discussion, “Securing your future: Planning Your Retirement in Today’s Market.” The event will be held at the Atlanta senior homes , Park Springs, in the Community Hall on Wednesday, February 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Discussion members include Ruthann Lacey, one of only five Certified Elder Law Attorneys in Georgia; Roger Tutterow, professor of Economics at Mercer University and John Hunt, president and founder of the New Home Buyer that creates the New Home Buyer Report for the Atlanta market.
“Retiring should be something you look forward to,” said Joan Carlson, vice-president of Quality Innovation and Culture at Park Springs. “We wanted to bring in this expert panel to provide up-to-date and relevant information because a lot has changed in the marketplace over the last couple of years. We know many people that are retired or getting ready to retire have many concerns, and we want to help answer their questions and secure their future.”
Hosted by Park Springs, an Atlanta retirement community offering a continuum of care in Stone Mountain for people ages 60 and older, the event is designed to be interactive. Guests are encouraged to ask questions throughout the panel discussion. Attendance is free, but space is limited. Reservations must be made by calling (678) 684-3300.
