This is the second bakery-café to open in the Town of Poughkeepsie. The new bakery-cafe will be located at the Arlington Square Shopping Center on Dutchess Turnpike (Route 44), and is scheduled to open September 26, 2011.

The opening of this franchised bakery-cafe is the thirteenth in the planned growth of Panera Bread in Southern NY, following an opening in Bedford Hills in August 2010. The franchisee Take Home the Bread, LLC plans to open 10 new bakery-cafes in the area over the next five years.
