The sad part is, this trend is not likely to improve because many American’s don’t value saving money or even know how to get started. As a result, many children never learn positive money values that emphasize saving and investing. But there’s hope. During National America Saves Week (February 20th – 27th) author James A. Merritt is offering 5 simple ways parents can inspire children to start the habit of saving. These steps will be shared throughout February on the Story Time Book Tour sponsored by M&T Bank.
