Parr Lumber Sponsors Winter Jackpot Rodeo Series

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 1, 2011 -- KAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Parr Lumber proudly sponsored the Winter Jackpot Rodeo Series. The Chuck Reed Rodeo, the final competition in the series was held April 16 – 29 in Klamath Falls, Ore.

In addition to their sponsorship, the event was noteworthy for Parr Lumber due to their Klamath Falls Manager, Crissy Vaughan’s family member’s participation in the series. Four family members swept their events at the Chuck Reed including Vaughan's son Lane, 6 won the mutton busting event and her nephews Bobby, 15 and Bodie, 12 earned respective first place finishes in junior bull and steer riding events. Her niece Keely, 13 also earned top honors in barrel racing.

The young participants are the second generation of the Vaughan family to compete in the Chuck Reed Rodeo. Their fathers, Brian, Bob and John Vaughan all learned to ride in the Chuck Reed Rodeo as children.
