Partners To Empowerment Wellness Center is pleased to announce its opening on Friday, March 1, 2013. The center, located in The Park Center II building on South Green Road, provides health and wellness information and educational programs and services to inform and encourage individuals to make healthy choices and achieve and maintain a wellness lifestyle.
œWe are very excited about our center and about offering wellness programming in the community, says Carol Kwait, co-founder, along with Nita Leff and Tammy Moorehead. Combined, the three owners have a record of experience in mental health, corporate wellness, education, employment and training, fitness and nutrition.
The Partners To Empowerment Wellness Center philosophy is to address wellness holistically, embracing the eight dimensions of wellness and well-being. The eight dimensions of wellness are: intellectual, social, spiritual, occupational, physical, financial, environmental and emotional and the interaction among them.
Some of the services provided at the center include: Yoga, Pilates, massage, health coaching, individual and group counseling, support groups, workshops, corporate and individual wellness programs, community outreach and much more.
œWhat really sets Partners To Empowerment Wellness Center apart from other wellness centers is our person-centered approach and our connection to the community, says co-founder Nita Leff. œFor example, our community outreach program is a huge part of our center. It is the work we all love to do.
Tammy Moorehead, H.C., co-founder and Director of Corporate Wellness believes that their Beachwood location is perfect for the center's corporate wellness programs. œWith so many corporate neighbors, our center will be a great place for the community to gain wellness information, take a lunchtime yoga class or have a mid-day massage.
