Travelment’s exceptional innovations, which PASS Consulting has developed for the start-up, include the display of all business trip related data, such as air, car, rail or hotel and booking in only one step. This feature eliminates further searches for maps or bus schedules on other websites, which makes it a full fledged door-to-door solution.

For the first time Geo-Data is being integrated into the travel planning process which allows for door-to-door trip planning. For its optimized transportation comparison, the system takes into account taxi cab, rental car, public transportation and the own vehicle to determine which one offers the easiest, fastest or inexpensive way to the desired destination. Every trip can be optimized based on either schedule or fees. Additionally it provides the user with POI’s (Points of Interest), hotels, restaurants, theatres or gas stations close to his desired location.

The Geo-Data for Travelement has been provided by the web based solution MAPSERVICES of the PASS Logistics Solutions AG (former Corbitconnect), the logistics expert within the PASS Consulting Group. The driving force behind this innovative project was the PASS Business Unit Innovations, which exclusively works on new ideas for the PASS Consulting Group.

The newly created online travel portal Travelment.com for the booking of business travel is not only geared towards small to medium sized businesses but private users as well.
Travelment came off as winner of the online-voting with 1.237 participants (Press release, business travel show). This makes Travelment the second online portal created by PASS that has been awarded.
