Pastor Ray Grant, Named Chaplain of Pro Football Team, Sin City Blackjacks

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 11, 2011 -- Sin City Blackjacks, Las Vegas’ newest Professional Indoor Football Team, has named Pastor Ray Grant as its chaplain. Pastor Grant is the senior minister at Abundant Word of Faith Church located at Best Western Inn on 1553 N. Boulder Hwy., Henderson, NV 89011. Today, chaplains perform a wide variety of pastoral duties including: providing emotional/spiritual support, visiting sick or injured, assisting with spouse and family needs, performing wedding vows, and baby dedications.

The Sin City Blackjacks is a professional indoor football team that plays in the American Indoor Football Association, a newly formed league. The team is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently the front office includes Anthony Bartley as General Manager/Head Coach, and Andre' Haynes as Marketing Director. Combines will be held on January 7th and 21st, 2012 at the Las Vegas Sports Park located at 1400 North Rampart Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89128. The Orleans Arena is set to host home games pending negotiations. The first home game is against the Sacramento Eagles, and is scheduled on Monday – March 19, 2012 at 7pm PT.

“Having a team prayer before the game makes me more comfortable,” commented Sequoia A. Holmes, Las Vegas’ only WNBA player. “Self criticism, owners, coaches, sponsors, teammates, family, friends, fans, the risk of injury, and playing a good game create pressure. A quick prayer never hurts.”
