Pat O'Brien recently had the opportunity to get involved with and help support OPERATION GRATITUDE which turned out to be an awesome event. Pat O'Brien explains "I have been involved in many charitable organizations before, but there is rarely one that is so straight forward and productive as this." Everyone who knows a person that is serving in the military currently, can enter that persons name on their website and OPERATION GRATITUDE will send that person a care package box full of goodies. Each goodie box sent to the military cost $11, so if you do enter a military persons name, you can also contribute at the same time, if possible. Pat says, "This is an extremely fullfilling charity that I plan to be involved with for a very long time." Our serving military appreciate everything we can do to support their efforts to protect our way of life". At the OPERATION GRATITUDE event, they handed out blank postcards and letters that anyone could fill out and send a note to the troops. "It was an extremely moving and emotional experience to write a note to an unknown soldier who will be reading it, telling them how much you appreciate them being there for us all."
