Paul Moak Honda Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness during October with the Pink Honda Fit

Jackson MS Honda Dealer, Paul Moak Honda proudly sponsors the 2011 “Drive to Inspire” promotion for breast cancer awareness month. During October, a pink 2011 Honda Fit will be hitting the streets of Central MS reminding women to “Fit in a Mammogram” in order to prevent or detect breast cancer. The pink Honda Fit is stocked with materials and resources for women who are interested in learning more about the early signs of breast cancer and how to schedule a mammogram through St. Dominic’s cancer center. The pink Fit is also providing fun, as citizens are able to sign the car in honor, memory, or support of a breast cancer patient, victim, or survivor.

The Women’s Health Center at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS is also sponsoring the Drive to Inspire Promotion, encouraging women to take time to “Fit in a Mammogram.” Aside for skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed among women in the United States last year. Experts urge women to get an annual mammogram beginning at age 40 in order to prevent and detect breast cancer.

The Pink Fit will be making appearances throughout the Central MS area during the month of October including local high school football games, the MS state fair, the Canton Flea Market, MEA Clinics, Kroger grocery stores, and restaurants in the Jackson metro area. Comcast Spotlight is also a title sponsor of the Drive to Inspire promotion.

An exciting new component of the 2011 Drive to Inspire campaign is a fund-raising element courtesy of Paul Moak Honda.
