Paulo Pereira Has Found a New Challenge: Being an ActionCOACH Business Coach

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2009 -- Paulo Pereira was tired of the corporate world wanted to experience new challenges. The former Human Resources Manager at Kirchhoff Automotive wanted to have a business of his own.

“I was looking for a new challenge. When I visited the Franchising Expo in Lisbon, I made my first contact with ActionCOACH,” Pereira said. “My first impression was that it was the biggest business coaching company operating internationally that provided a large amount of training and systems to its coaches and their clients. It also looked like an excellent network for coaches to exchange experiences.”

“I had decided to start my own business and ActionCOACH focused on supporting small and medium-sized business owners,” he added. “More than 90 percent of Portuguese companies are small businesses, and their owners often have good technical skills, but don’t have the management skills.”

Pereira has a degree in mechanical engineering from Oporto University in Portugal, and started working for industrial companies in production and quality departments. Among these companies were several global companies: Texas Instruments, Continental Tires, Bertrand Faure and Kirchhoff Automotive. In his work experience, he’s established human resources systems in two companies, complete with training, recruiting, performance evaluations and bonus systems. He was also a quality control trainer and consultant.

Pereira hopes to use his experience establishing quality systems and team building to help his clients. “I’d like to coach a business where I can act in different areas, like creating systems to help accomplish goals, team building and sales and marketing,” he said. “I’m looking forward to helping business owners achieve their goals, increase profits and change their lives.”
