FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 22, 2010 --
PAVA, one of Russia’s major grain processors, started a new sales campaign in the Buryat Republic. Flour from PAVA will be distributed as a social product in a large retail chain of the region, which targets low-end customers.
The company considers it a great stabilizing factor for the market as offering budget-priced goods would provide significant social support to customers from lower income bracket. “Flour is a major product staple, and, besides ensuring the best quality, we are mindful of the necessity to make it affordable for all income groups “, comments Andrey Ananin, PAVA Managing Director.
Buryat retailers will distribute wheat flour from PAVA in a 10-kg package size designed in the corporate red and white colours, under the name “Altay flour”. This will be a limited consignment, featuring traditionally high gluten and whiteness characteristics that produce a tasty bakery of superior quality. The product is marketed in a low-cost category.
To recap, Altay grain processor has continuously realized initiatives to increase affordability of flour and baked goods. When the global economic downturn adversely impacted profitability of baking business, PAVA came up with a new solution – a flour which gives unprecedented boost to bakery output, while enhancing its dietary value. It is considered an ideal material for manufacturing “social bread”, supporting the target of the corresponding government programs.
