Through integrating this technology, Peach Basket Development can now create online channels, broadcast live events, deliver video to mobile and support video advertising.

PBD is an emerging streetball basketball lifestyle brand with the focus of developing new alternative basketball sports. PBD first project is Basketball-the-Remix | Basketball WITHOUT Backboards. Basketball-the-Remix is a full court three-on-three game of basketball with several twist. True to its name this version of basketball is played without a backboard. The court size is smaller than a high school court and includes new demarcation patterns of the lines on the court. The integration of the hoop without backboard and new court design provides a totally unique playing experience for the modern basketball players.

The rules include three, 15 minutes periods, no time outs, substitution of athletes only during live play, and the introduction of the 3 PT Key. Similar to the key in modern basketball, Basketball-the-Remix’s 3 PT Key is situated underneath the hoop but is shorter and wider. With the removal of the backboard players are rewarded for making contested lay-ups, short jump shots and dunks with three points. The inclusion of a 12 second shot clock makes Basketball-the-Remix the fastest and most challenging version of basketball in sports today.

PBD has begun the integration of a robust video publishing platform into their portal website, www.basketballtheremix.com. PBD’s is now enabled to deliver the same brilliant video experience as top online video portals through sharing the same platform with media brands like Netflix and Hulu. Leveraging a video cloud service PBD can now create online channels, broadcast live events and deliver video to mobile. PBD will begin monetizing their videos from the first day of streaming. The platform’s video player provides users with the social tools they are familiar with to share and engage the brand.

A growing trend within the urban basketball scene is the emergence of the streetball crew. The current AND1 Live tour is based upon accepting challenges from local streetball crews and then promoting the event in the same fashion as a concert or Action Sports competition. The AND1 Live tour is a remix of the barnstorming Harlem Globetrotters of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s when they were competitive basketball team.

PBD will share advertising revenues with streetball crews whose content drive profitable channels.
