Penta Laboratories, founded in 1951, as a distributor of electron tubes is celebrating it's 50th anniversary.

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 6, 2011 -- Penta Laboratories is celebrating its 50 year anniversary this year. Penta was founded in 1951.

Soon after opening, Penta became renowned for the development of the beam-power pentode. Prior to the introduction of the pentode, electron tubes had lower power than their applications needed. These pentodes provided greater power output than previous models of electron tubes. Greater power allowed for the use of these tubes as power amplifiers. Musicians also continue to prefer this type of tube for their guitar amplifiers.

Penta has continued to develop, innovate, and provide the exceptional customer service that it has been known for since opening its doors fifty years ago.
