Perpetuum Software rebrands its .Net reporting and data visualization components

Now almost all the products got logo SharpShooter. It symbolizes accuracy, high fidelity and power that will help our customers build even the most complicated reporting and data visualization systems with minimum effort and time”, says Mikhail Payson, CTO of Perpetuum Software.

So, all the products are now joined in the SharpShooter Collection. It includes SharpShooter Reports (powerful report generator for WinForms, ASP.NET and Silverlight), SharpShooter Gauges (reliable gauge component for WinFroms and ASP.NET), SharpShooter OLAP (easy-to-use OLAP component with built-in charting), and SharpShooter Dashboards (a suite of gauge and charting components for WinForms and ASP.NET).

The products represent an interconnected framework with common design-time and customization facilities. This was another reason for complete rebranding. Now it’s obvious that the products are included in a single line, are completely compatible with each other and customers won’t need much time to explore the software.

To optimize marketing and development effort some of the products and product suites are not marketed any longer. They are Chart ModelKit that is now the part of SharpShooter OLAP and SharpShooter Dashboards and OLAP ModelKit and OLAP+CHART ModelKit that now merged in SharpShooter OLAP. In spite of this fact, current holders of valid subscription for these products will get technical support and critical bug fixes, if any.
