Pet Photographer Cheshire Andy Biggar Photography wins runner up in the Kennel Club of Great Britains Dog Photographer of The Year Working Dogs Section

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 8, 2010 -- Pet Photographer Cheshire or Andy Biggar Photographer has just been notified by the Kennel Club of Great Britain that he has won runner up in the Working Dog section of the Dog Photographer of the year competition 2010.

Andy who is an award winning photographer says," It is a fantastic honour to have my work recognised by such a prestigous panel of judges who are made up of some of the best dog photographers of the moment".

The winning images will be on show at the Discover Dogs show at Earls Court in London and Andy has been invited to go along and collect his prize.

Andy says." I always try and catch dogs in their natural environment, i.e not stuck in front of a blank screen in a studio.

This type of photography is very old fashioned and does not capture the special relationship that an owner has with its dog.They tend to be very nervous and blinded by the bright lights which will never deliver a winning shot."

"I prefer to photograph dogs outside with the owners in order to capture thos e special moments in a real situation"
