Petaluma Boot Camp Trades Toys for Workouts to Give to Needy Children

Petaluma, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 17, 2010 -- Miwok Elementary School – Petaluma, CA November 25th, 2010 -- The Petaluma Adventure Boot Camp, a fitness boot camp for many men and women, is teaming up with their clients to provide relief to needy families this holiday season. All campers who donate a new, unwrapped toy will be provided with a free “damage control” workout on Thanksgiving Day before the big feast. All toys will be donated to the local Toys for Tots Organization.

Petaluma Adventure Boot Camp Owner and Head Trainer Jayme Larson, CAPT, CABCT, KBC, is a firm believer in giving back to the Petaluma community. Larson claims “With the current plight of the economy, it’s clear that we all really need to stick together and help each other out when we can. We have a really tight-knit group of campers and they always go above and beyond in helping others.” Coming off of their successful Halloween-themed workout with pumpkins, the Petaluma Adventure Boot Camp will be trading a free workout for every new, unwrapped toy brought in by each camper. Larson goes on further stating “The Petaluma community has been so overwhelmingly receptive to our program, so it is an absolute honor to have the resources to be able to give back to such a great cause.”

Petaluma Adventure Boot Camp Director of Operations Stacey Kortie, CPT, KBC, mother of 2 sons and 3 step-daughters, believes that no child should be left without a toy from Santa on Christmas morning. “A gift from Santa Claus is one of the most magical moments a child will ever experience. Humbly, we will do everything in our power to make sure that we can provide toys for as many needy local Petaluma children as possible.”

To make the donation effort even more enticing this Thanksgiving, Petaluma Adventure Boot Camp will also be providing a Special Offer to each non-camper who attends their event. This special offer will give each of these people the opportunity to jump start their fitness before 2011 at an introductory rate of only $97 for 4-Weeks of Boot Camp, regularly priced at $265. Their large group workouts feature several different types of exercises and training to provide nine times more fat burn than ordinary exercise.
