PETER BUFFETT GETS INTO THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH HIS NEW DIGITAL ADVENT CALENDAR

Staying true to the advent calendar tradition, Buffett’s calendar (www.peterbuffett.com/advent) has 24 doors, inside of which fans can uncover hidden gifts each day until Christmas. Gifts include tracks from his holiday album, Star of Wonder, excerpts from his upcoming book Life is What You Make It, and holiday-themed vlogs. Given Buffett’s philanthropic nature, he felt it was important to have every door reveal suggestions for simple actions fans can take to help make a difference and benefit others during this time of year.

Providing the festive and snowy backdrop for the calendar is, “Winter In Winchester”, a painting provided by Pennsylvania-based folk artist Jessica Wasilewski. Primarily self-taught, she was influenced by her Mother, artist Ann Reeves who encouraged Jessica to develop her imagination. Having recently undergone a bone marrow transplant at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City, the calendar will be kicking off with information on how to support The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, which provided lodging for no cost to Jessica during her months of treatment. .
