(Free-Press-Release.com) July 21, 2010 -- Inspiration Beverage Company, LLC, the maker of Petey’s BING(TM) Energy Drink out of Denver, Colorado, is pleased to announce new distribution of the beverage in all Publix Super Markets throughout the southeastern United States.

Based in Lakeland, Florida, the Publix Super Markets chain is the largest and fastest-growing employee-owned supermarket chain in the country. With retail sales of over $24 billion last year, Publix serves markets in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama with over 1,000 store locations.

“This large-scale placement of BING represents a giant leap forward in the implementation of our national growth strategy and provides the brand with a real stamp of approval from one of the most respected super market chains in the country,” said Lamont Seckman, president of Inspiration Beverage Company (IBC). “We’ve already had a great consumer response as people in that part of the country certainly recognize the importance of a brand being in this high-profile account.”

IBC, a family-owned and operated company, has been securing distribution for BING outside of its home Colorado market since last fall. The brand became a local phenomenon soon after its 2007 launch at Denver-area farmer’s markets and is now available at retail locations in 17 states.

According to Seckman, consumers are responding to the bing-cherry flavor and healthy ingredients mix of BING. “We definitely see an increasing interest in BING from consumers that are concerned about calorie and carb counts, and want to enjoy the flavor of their energy beverage as well.” BING has only 40 calories and 10 grams of carbs in each twelve-ounce can – over 75% less than many major energy and soft drink brands.
