February 22, 2010 - Portland's newest premium infant and chidren's apparel brand, Petit Couture, is unveiling their Signature Collection and select organic pieces for 2010/11 locally at Northwest Market Association this coming March 20th-22nd, 2010. Petit Couture is a socially-minded premium children's line that fuses modern sophistication with artisan and whimsical signature styling.

Petit Couture is a premium line of infant and toddler apparel and accessories with the occasional “mama” item -- primarily geared for fashion-conscious mamas and their offspring. The signature Petit Couture designs were conceived to fill a lack of elegant and whimsical layette and basics in the marketplace with sophisticated color choices, details and embellishments. Signature burnout and thermal Ts are cotton blend with distressed fabric treatments for an elegant ‘rocker’ look. All garments from the Petit Couture Signature Collection are sourced and manufactured in the USA.

About Petit Couture
Petit Couture is a luxury infant and toddler line with artisan, whimsical and urban influences - primarily geared for fashion-conscious tots. Our sizes range from 0-3 to 6T and are entirely sourced and made in the USA of premium interlock cotton and cotton blends. We pair our fashions with letterpress packaging elements and playdate cards when purchased direct from the company. Retail pricing ranges from $24 to $60 USD for separates and $55 to $125 for gift sets.

Petit Couture's design style came about primarily due to the lack of elegant and whimsical layette and basics options in more sophisticated color choices and embellishments. All of our layette basics are in black and white interlock cotton, with additional color combinations out this Spring 2010. Our burnout and thermal Ts are a cotton blend with distressed fabric treatments. Our signature owl creates the main visual interest on each garment with other signature details like our grosgrain ribbon (black with white detailing) and rhinestone embellishments (white crystal and black crystal). Our end desire is that our garments balance the elegance and beauty of an item you may see in a letterpress card shop with the fun urban-influence of rock n' roll styling.

Petit Couture is wholly owned by Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff. Rebecca has a 15+ year executive business background leading digital marketing and communications programs for Fortune 500 companies.
